Anything outdoors, working in my yard, horseback riding, swimming, visiting my kids and singing Kereoke after a cocktail or two. :-). Also, love to dance.

Goodwill Hunting,Field of Dreams, Rudy, and lately..Juno.

Rock, Country, Classical, and good dance music.

I grew up very fortunate to have 2 wonderful parents that loved the outdoors, therefore allowing me to experience most anything I wanted from water skiing, horseback riding, fresh and saltwater fishing, shooting, softball, volleyball, tennis...I could go on and on. Having been born and raised in Florida might have been why I also wanted to be outside and on the go. That was then, now..after raising 3 wonderful kids, I'm alone, but still like being on the go.
I work full time, but want to get more actively involved in things I enjoy. I love and respect nature and believe in the Golden Rule and I love life!

Wow, you are quite accomplished!  Do you have any websites on where I could find out more about seniors swimming?  I would love to
get back into it.  THanks so much.  Hope to hear back from you.

Pam

Hi Pam - you're 57 / a "senior"?  Then your photo must be about 15 years old - you look much, much younger!  Anyway, back to your question,  you can always check my website out but it's primarily about open water swimming - it's www.LaneLinesToShoreLines.com.

Second, there is US Masters Swimming which has about 40,000 members nationwide & they have various clubs where you can do coached work-outs.  I'm not sure how structured a program you may be looking for but there are 3 US Masters Clubs in Fort Meyers - http://www.floridalmsc.org/clubmap.htm#E will give you contact information.

And finally, if you get back into swimming, find you enjoy it and want to try a new concept in vacations, check out www.bajaex.com.  They're offering 2 one-week open water swimming vacations in October in La Paz Mexico (sorry for the commercial but I'm one of the guides & just trying to drum up business to everyone & anyone who has even the slightest interest in swimming).

Hope this helps but if you have any follow-up questions, just let me know.

Best regards,

Gary
