Florida State Time Trial Championships

I had a great day at the USCF Florida State time trial championships yesterday in Jacksonville.  I won the state championship in my age group and set a new age group record for 20K eclipsing my previous record set two years ago by 18 seconds.  It's fun to get better as you get older!  My significent other Rosie who I have been coaching the last few months took her first time trial state championship winning the women's 60+ category.  Yesterday was my 11th state title!! ... Florida Senior Games

I came to the line for the Florida State Senior Games state championsips 5K cycling time trial with just under 15,000 training miles year to date, and not a single missed day of training.  It was a pretty rough day with heavy winds, and I'm happy to report that I defended both my 5K & 10K titles.  My main goal was to break my own state records, but alas the wind made that impossible.  Excitingly, I won my 9th and 10th state cycling titles in two years since my return from heal... Florida State Road Race Championships
