I had a great day at the USCF Florida State time trial championships yesterday in Jacksonville. I won the state championship in my age group and set a new age group record for 20K eclipsing my previous record set two years ago by 18 seconds. It's fun to get better as you get older! My significent other Rosie who I have been coaching the last few months took her first time trial state championship winning the women's 60+ category. Yesterday was my 11th state title!! Finally get to ease back a bit in the training until around August 1st when I will start a two month peaking period for the state road race championships the first weekend in October.
