Your site is driving away potetial discussion forum members. That's because on the home page it appears as if you have to pop for a subscription ($$) in order to join the forum. I know you don't need a subscription, I just registered. I said "it appears" that way. You could be losing out on potential members, which does nobody any good when you're trying to build a community up from ground zero, a stage of life this forum is obviously in. Take it for what it's worth.

Also, the interface is a little weak. You have only one category, "general discussion." You might want to break it up into categories, ie, injuries, basketball, baseball, boxing, diet, ect. As it is now everything is all lumped together, muddled. When you're categorizing things throw in a "general topics" forum where people can talk about travel, money, cars, jobs, motorcyles or anything under the sun. General topic forums will tend to attract new members and keep old ones around.

A webmaster shouldn't let anyone come in here to pimp an excercise machine or supplement. I think I saw that here in another thread. Recommendations based on user experience are fine, but when the owner of said product pimps it to a forum, it reeks of spam. As a community member, I have better things to do than to waste time reading someones sales pitch. Lifes too short for that baloney. I'd just as soon be outdoors.
But then I live by the sea.

And p.s., where's the preview button?
