many of you are not doubt missing out on one of the best ways to improve overall strength and health, specifically, the imbibing of quality imported ales and beers.

Bass, Newcastle Brown, Old Bombardier, Tennant's, MacEwans and the ubiquitous Guinness Stout really are good for you. Try this--before your next strenuous workout, especially if it includes stone lifting, car pushing or hammer throwing and the like, quaff a Bass Ale or one of the others listed above, or similar from the Old Sod. make sure its a good bottom fermented brew of some lineage.

i guarantee your workout will be more productive. the complex sugars in the draft are terrific energy sources, and the alcohol helps with the inflammation caused by the micro-tears of the muscle tissue.

ok ok, i am joking, but not totally. this is how i train and it is more fun than ever.
