For additional exercise, I do my gardening. I have killed many plants. I also do volunteer tax preparation for AARP, serve on the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, have written a romance novel that I can't get anyone to publish, and I spend too much time on the internet doing things like writing this profile. I just started to study interior design.
I have signed up to compete in ping pong in the upcoming Stanford Sr Olympics. I'll probably be eliminated in 10 minutes though.

The last book I read was "Seeing Red" by Graham Poll, England's top referee until he gave a Croatian player 3 yellow cards in the 2006 World Cup game against Australia.

My proudest sports moment is everyday that I can still play.
My proudest soccer moment was scoring the game winner in a San Diego Senior tournament with my young adult daughter going nuts on the sideline.
My proudest tennis moment was coming in third place in the LA City high school playoffs. I was on the first girls tennis team at my high school in 1972.
I'm proud that I started playing soccer and snowboarding at age 49.

Played in a soccer tournament in Puerto Vallarta and brought along a plunger for the public toilet there.

I try to play soccer at least twice a week, but I don't get out to play tennis much anymore.
You may wonder why my headline is "Why am I here?"
The last few years as I've gotten older, I seem to have become more philosophical. Every time I enter a room nowadays, I ask myself, why am I here?
(my mother told me this joke)
