Aloha: I am a competitive paddler in Hawaiian outrigger canoes. My major interest is in the six-man canoes, although I have raced in the one-mans. I am gearing up for a move to Nashville, Tennessee and am somewhat dismayed to find that there is no outrigger paddling on the lakes in the area. Perhaps I will have to start my own club.
I know that there is a lot of white-water kayaking and conventional lake and river paddling in the area. If anyone out there has knowledge of outriggers in Tennessee, I would appreciate the contact information.
